Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a long game. Even if you skip most of its side quests, and I strongly recommend that you don't, you're going to be spending north of 40 hours with Cloud and the gang if you see the middle chapter in the Remake trilogy through to the end. That means you're going to want to be comfortable while you do that, and what better way to play Rebirth than in a gaming chair made specifically for this very occasion?
DX Racer has added a Rebirth option for its drifting series gaming chair, and not only will it let you continue your journey through Junon and beyond in comfort, but you'll look good doing it. DX Racer's Drifting Series gaming chair has a headrest lined with cooling gel, armrests that can not only be adjusted up and down but also forwards and backwards, and a winged seat base designed to support the hips of games of all sizes.
As for how it looks, the Rebirth design is black and white, with the game's logo on the front with emblems representing everyone who can join your party throughout the sequel. Not random symbols, but the same symbols that represent all eight characters in the game. The best part of all though is the Buster Sword on the back. Etched in black on the chair's white leatherette, it's the closest you can be to looking like Cloud and Zack while playing Rebirth without having to stand up and find yourself a real-life Buster Sword.
DX Racer's Drifting Series now has a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth customization option. The Rebirth makeover puts all eight party members' symbols on the front and a Buster Sword on the back. The chair still has all of the same perks as every other in the drifting series including a cooling gel lining in the headrest and adjustable armrests.
DX Racer's Rebirth chair will usually be $549, but if you buy it now you can get it for $100 less. That same saving applies to the XL version of the chair designed for bigger gamers which is $599 but currently available for $499. You can also buy a Rebirth-branded memory foam lumbar pillow for additional back support, and if you're not sold on the Final Fantasy 7 design, you can switch it out for other colors, patterns, and customization options, most of which will bring down the cost of the chair and are also on sale.
There is a lot of Rebirth stuff available now if you want your experience with the game to extend beyond the game alone. Square Enix has miniature Buster Sword necklaces that come with tiny materia gems, and Remake's Cloud static figure has been restocked and will ship later this year. If your Rebirth journey is over but you need more Final Fantasy in your life, pre-orders for Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail , which launches this summer, are available now.
